Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Blacks in Technology (BIT), an organization that is working to increase representation of Black people in the technology industry. BIT chapters offer programs and events that cater to the unique needs of their local communities, and we are excited to support mission. At Atlantic Comic Con, we believe that diversity and inclusion are essential, and we are proud to stand with BIT in their efforts to make the tech more equitable.

As part of our partnership, we will be hosting the grand opening of the Hampton Roads Chapter of Blacks in Technology during opening ceremonies of the Atlantic Comic Con 2024. We hope that this will provide an opportunity for members to connect with like-minded individuals and explore their passion for technology and comics. We look forward to a successful with Blacks Technology and to supporting their mission for years to come.
Our Mission
Our goal and mission is to “stomp the divide” between Black tech workers and to fundamentally influence and effect change on an industry that has historically not sought parity with respect to Black workers. Our intent is to level the playing field through training, education, networking, and mentorship with the support of allies, partners, sponsors, and most importantly our global members
