Tranquil Ashes
Tranquil Ashes is a multi-talented artist who has distinguished herself as a published author, make-up artist, organizer, event producer, award wining cosplayer and host. Tranquil brings a unique set of skills and experiences from growing up in Baltimore to spending several years in Japan. A world travler, champion and creator of nerd spaces such as the Pop Culture Couture Gala event known as The CosGala, Chub Rub Society as well as Black MerMay Day.

These talented individuals have years of experience in the art of Cosplay and are excited to see the creativity and passion of all the contestants. Atlantic ComicCon Cosplay Contest Rules & Tips
Calling all Young crafters and creative minds! Kids ages 1–15 are welcomed to join us on stage as their favorite character or OC!
*Costumes can be store bought, handmade, or a combination of both.
*Costumes that include handmade, customized, or modified elements will receive extra consideration from the judges.
Contest Rules:
Age Requirement: Participants must be between 1 and 15 years old and be must be accompanied by parent or guardian.
Costumes:
Costumes may be store-bought, handmade, customized, or a combination.
Handmade: Entries who create parts or all of their cosplay receive additional considerations for craftsmanship.
Character Choice: Can Cosplay from any PopCulture media or genere.
Costumes must be appropriate for a family-friendly event.
Safety:
No real weapons. Costumes may not contain sharp edges/ flammable or toxic materials
No derogatory messages or profanity
Judges' Decision: Judges' decisions are final and will be based on the contest's scoring criteria. There will be three overall winners.
Originality & Creativity: Judges will consider creativity, character presentation, and overall effort.

Atlantic Comic Con calls on all crafters and cosplayers for ACC Cosplay Contest 2026! Step up and show off your skills! (Mention Last Year's winners )
Contest Rules:
75% Handmade: Entries who create 75% or all of their cosplay are eligible for award.
Items like Shoes, Under Garments and Wigs can be bought but need to be styled by the entrant.
Armor Builds will be graded on the same criteria as fiber/ sewing artists but will focus on the cleanest of seams, paint jobs, aand wearablity.
Character Choice: Can Cosplay from any PopCulture media or genere.
Costumes must be appropriate for a family-friendly event.
Safety:
No real weapons ( no sharp edges)
Costumes may not contain sharp edges/ flammable or toxic materials
No derogatory messages or profanity
ADA: Please indicated if you need special accommodations to get on stage.
Judges' Decision: Judges' decisions are final and will be based on the contest's scoring criteria. There will be three overall winners and three Judges Choice winners.
Entrants who want to "Walk On" and qualify for a Judges Choice award.
Judges will consider creativity, character presentation, and overall effort and Costumes can be store bought, handmade, or a combination of both.
Judges Categories:
1. Craftsmanship : Quality of sewing, and or fabrication
2. Accuracy: How closely the cosplay matches the source character
3. Complexity: Difficulty of the build
4. Creativity: techniques, and customization skills used
5. Performance: Overall appearance and presentation of the build.
